I love your posts and writings but not so much in this case because I think it lacks information. What was this guy referring to? The fact is that Hamas is doomed to be a terrorist organisation no matter what its actions, like any other group, organisation, military, country, whoever opposes or resists Israel demands, actions, rules (or lack of them). My tiny an really pacific country was threatened by Israel to be labelled “extremist” if it decided to support the EU proposal to cut commercial ties with Israel in the aftermath of the abduction and torture of the flotilla humanitarian activists in international waters.

In my view Israel, off course, but specifically the US and the international community have not left Hamas with much options. And in any case, I must refer again that we know NOTHING about the 7th of October and from what we know it was Israel that transformed the operation into what it was, with so many civilian casualties. Hamas is totally entitled by international law to attack Israeli military outposts and it’s totally entitled morally to take live hostages to trade by their own hostages, many, if not the most, also innocent civilians abducted from their homes, streets, lands.

So I understand the despair of this man thinking that maybe Hamas is making things even worse… but it’s the same… Israel would always find a way to keep its ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and keep expanding its territory. They use all kinds of non-ethical resources: false flag attacks, propaganda full of lies, buying all the media outlets, film studios, social media platforms, lobbying politicians and companies… you name it, they do it all!

I was also about to write how much I love R Qureshi's posts ❤️

This one was perhaps just a short note, which is ok, too

What you've said is right, the whole set up of Israel with small pockets where Palestinian people would have their 'homeland'was only a ruse to take it all, bit by bit - injustice was built in ....

But, I remember a sinking feeling when Hamas won the election - I think 20 years ago. It felt like bad news. Similar to hearing that - I hate to say the name, but - Netanyahu had returned to a leadership position only 4 or 5 years - there was a gap of a year or so with a different coalition governing Israel - the ending of that felt similarly ominous

That's all I wanted to say

The Zionist lobby is something the world should unite to dismantle

There are two key countries in this issue both then and now: England and Germany, for different reasons, both should be responding now for what is happening. The US is non existent, because it’s Israel mainland, so US is Israel and Israel is US and it has been like this for a long time and presidents of the United States are afraid of being murdered by Israel if they don’t comply and complying is also really good for your personal wealth… so, why not?

Yes, maybe true, but it comes back to what I said… lack of options… why did Hamas won? When you are desperate, you take desperate measures, and Palestinians could only be desperate… who wouldn’t in their shoes? Isn’t what happened to them massively injust? Don’t people in power around the world know it? From my perspective it’s unbearable and it makes anyone loose faith in mankind and be desperate!

It is massively unjust

Some existential suffering places the individual or group in an "impossible" situation or indeed a relentless succession of such. Those of us sitting in comfy philosophical armchairs can have no real understanding of this overwhelming intellectual & emotional hell. For hell is what it is; it is not an abstract concept.

I can see and hear Bibi High Priest of Genocide grinning and saying “Observe, class! this reaction shows why we do what we do.”

The individual declaration of anger with Hamas may be displaced which would be a nor uncommon attitude among colonised people. Colonisation is a systemic process and people born into and growing up in this context may cope with the cognitive dissonance and the unbearable suffering and injustice by identifying with the oppressor. Many Irish men joined the British forces, mostly out of economic necessity but some of them became more oppressive colonisers in other countries such as Lieutenant-Governor Michel O’Dwyer responsible for the events leading to the Amritsar massacre in India and for his support of Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer who orchestrated the massacre. Dyer is sometimes wrongly identified as Irish.

The Zionists have used the strategy of divide and conquer as the British did before them. Reprisal punishments, imprisonment and torture to force people to inform on one another whether truthful or false serves this purpose as does recruiting and arming collaborators.
